Patrick Anan

Patrick began his career in commodities in 1992 with Merrill Lynch in their Precious Metals settlement area, confirming trading activity as well as metal movements.

In 1995, Patrick joined the Compliance Department of the Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange. During the Exchange Floor Surveillance aspect of the job, he became familiar with the way exchange traded futures and options are executed.

In 1997, Patrick joined Engelhard Corporation as an Assistant Dealer in their Precious Metals department. After trading electricity and hedging natural gas, Patrick then moved onto the metals desk as a Dealer focusing on Gold and Silver.

In 2000, Patrick joined Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. as an Assistant Manager of Marketing & Sales for the Non-ferrous Trading & Recycling Group. The main focus of the Non-ferrous Trading & Recycling Group is the recycling of precious metal bearing automotive catalyst. Patrick handled a majority of the Platinum Group Metal hedging. Patrick joined Auramet in February 2005.
